Emilien Peytavit got his Engineer degree from « Ecole Centrale de Lille » in 1999, and his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lille (France) in 2002, on terahertz generation by optical heterodyne techniques. From 2003 to 2005 he was a postdoc at the CEA-LETI in Grenoble (France), where he worked on microbolometer arrays for terahertz detection. Since 2005 he is a CNRS Research Scientist based at IEMN Laboratory at the University of Lille. He has co-authored 45 journal papers, 56 international conference papers and holds 3 patents.
Current research interests
– Ultrafast Photodetectors and Integrated Photonics Circuits for microwave and THz photonics
– THz Waveguides and Antennas based on III-V compounds and Silicon Microtechnology techniques
