- Subject: Elaboration of h-BN for the realization of 2D graphene/h-BN heterostructures

During his studies at the Lebanese University of Tripoli, Jawad attended various physics courses in his bachelor and Master 1 "Fundamental Physics". He studied more precisely the physics of materials, the relationship between the properties and the structure of the materials that constitute the objects surrounding us. Passionate by these subjects, which are at the heart of major technical and technological developments, he continued his studies at the University of Aix Marseille (St-Jérôme) where he passed his Master 2 MANE "Matériaux Avancés pour les Nanosciences et l'Energie". Actually, within the IEMN he is preparing his thesis entitled "Elaboration of h-BN for the realization of graphene heterostructures 2D/h-BN". Its goal is to optimize the production of graphene/h-BN heterostructures by MBE " Molecular Beam Epitaxy " a method known for its purity (ultra-vacuum environment) and for its excellent control of atomic layers during growth.
