This research group, located on two nearby sites, also employs more than 20 non-permanent staff (70 % PhD students and 30 % post-docs, researchers on fixed-term contracts, and research or study engineers on fixed-term contracts).

The group's activities focus on energy efficiency, from the material level (energy micro-storage devices) to the system and sensor network level (large-scale modelling of energy consumption). The link between these varied fields is ensured by the implementation of low energy consumption devices in both radio frequency and information processing. Applications are mainly focused on the intelligent city and health.
