The IEMN supports business creation projects by offering companiment, through its scientific expertise and access to its technological platforms. As a result, researchers or young doctors have embarked on the creation of startups, some of which are hosted within our walls. These startups can contribute to the valorization of technologies developed at the IEMN.
Hileores est une Startup de l’innovation à technologie de rupture (Deeptech) qui vise à redynamiser en France et plus particulièrement les Hauts-de-France l’écosystème autour de la micro-électronique et du stockage de l‘énergie, et ce, via la conception, la fabrication et la vente de micro-sources de stockage de l’énergie les plus compactes au monde (micro-batteries, micro-supercondensateurs et micro-condensateurs). L’essentiel de la proposition de valeur de la technologie d’Hileores répond au verrou technologique de l’alimentation en énergie continue de dispositifs médicaux (sources de stockage performantes, rechargeables, ultra compactes, non-cytotoxiques et non-inflammables) et des capteurs environnementaux miniatures comme outils de veille et de monitorat.
ClearDrop is a startup specialized in acoustics and fluid mechanics. The patented technology uses surface acoustic waves to remove water droplets or ice from a surface.
Potential applications include: (i) cleaning optical devices (ii) removing water from cell phone screens, (iii) improving the vision of motorcycle helmets, (iv) cleaning solar panels, and more...
This startup was born from an innovation project at the time of the Covid-19 pandemic, developed in coordination between IEMN and AFBM in Marseille. It is a technology platform for the modification of biosensor surfaces for the development of new diagnostic devices.
