Professional experience

2016-2019: University College London (UCL) – Postdoc.
2019-2023: Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), 2019-2022 & ESPCI-Paris, 2022-2023 – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (Global – GF).
2023-2025: Université Paris-Saclay, CNRS – Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies (C2N) – Postdoc.
2025–Present: Institut d’électronique de microélectronique et de nanotechnologie (IEMN) – CNRS Junior Professor Chair (CPJ).

Scientific activities

• 2011–2015: Quantum Dash Nanostructures
o Fabrication and characterization of quantum dash ridge-waveguide and distributed feedback (DFB) lasers.
o Clean room process development for laterally-coupled DFB lasers with etched Bragg gratings.
o Scanning Tunnelling Microscopy and Spectroscopy of individual quantum dash nanostructures.
• 2016–Present: Silicon Photonics & III-V Integration
o Direct growth and fabrication of III-V laser structures on silicon substrates.
o Development of hybrid lasers using wafer bonding techniques.
o Precision refractive index measurements of semiconductor alloys.
• 2019–Present: Quantum Analogs & Quantum Foundations
o Development of new experiments and numerical models for hydrodynamic quantum analog (HQA) systems, including the demonstration    and study of hydrodynamic superradiance.
o Research on the foundations of quantum mechanics, including quantum entanglement and wave-particle duality.
• 2023–2025: Nanophononics and Optomechanics
o Research on phonon transport and topological phononic structures.
o Laser fabrication for optomechanics applications.
• 2025–Future: Fabrication of single-photon sources emitting at telecom wavelengths for quantum communications
o Selective Area Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) of novel quantum dot structures.
o MBE growth and fabrication of novel microcavity structures around individual quantum dots on InP substrates, optimizing single-photon emission at 1.55 μm.
o Development of integrated III-V-on-Si single-photon sources for quantum technologies.
o Fundamental physics experiments involving single photons and entangled photon pairs, for research into quantum foundations and quantum communications.
• 2025–Future: THz Technologies
o Development of fully integrated, efficient THz sources on InP and Si substrates.

Teaching experience

• 2017-2019: Lecturer in Advanced Photonic Devices (undergraduate level), University College London.
• 2016-2024: Co-supervised 3 MSc and 3 PhD students.
• 2021-2022: MIT UROP: Co-supervised 1 undergraduate student as part of the MIT UROP program.
