ACOUSTICS GROUP

Nos activités de recherche portent sur les thématiques suivantes :

  • Phononic crystals (CPs) and acoustic metamaterials (MMAs) : CPs as sound insulators, tunable piezoelectric CPs, time-modulated piezoelectric CPs, bio-inspired hierarchical MMAs
  • Protection topologique
  • Underwater acoustics: acoustic discretion and ship stealth.
  • Sonification – Perception sonore et multimodale
  • Composants à ondes acoustiques de surface
  • Algorithmique quantique

Nos principales compétences reposent sur :

  • La modélisation de la propagation d’ondes dans des milieux complexes à l’aide d’outils théoriques tels que la méthode des éléments finis (avec le développement du logiciel commercial ATILA), la méthode des différences finies en temps et dans l’espace, la méthode de développement en ondes planes, la méthode des matrices de transfert, les techniques d’homogénéisation …
  • La conception, la modélisation et/ou la caractérisation acoustique de dispositifs techniques (transducteurs piézoélectriques, panneaux absorbants/réfléchissants/anéchoïques, …)
  • La perception du son et des vibrations
  • Les processus et algorithmes d’optimisation
