David GUERIN obtained his PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Rennes in 2001 with a dissertation on the synthesis of pi-electrodonors and their application as precursors of molecular materials. In 2003 he joined IEMN as a postdoc in the NCM group where he developed molecular devices (diode, SAMFET) by the technique of Self Assembled Monolayers.
Since 2007 he pursues this work as a CNRS Research Engineer in the NCM group, his skills ranging from chemical synthesis (molecules, polymers, nanoparticles) to surfaces functionalization for nano/bio devices (switches, sensors, memories). Within the IEMN technical platform (CMNF), he is in charge of the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry and Surfaces Functionalization. He is currently the co-author of 54 journal papers.
