Anechoic chamber
Contact: Pierre Laly
An anechoic chamber is a Faraday cage (a metal enclosure that is impervious to electromagnetic waves) whose inner surfaces are lined with electromagnetic absorbers. Above a certain minimum frequency imposed by the dimensions and characteristics of the absorbers, this type of equipment simulates a free-space wave propagation environment. Our chamber is equipped with a turntable used for EMC testing and measuring radiation patterns (antennas, equipment under test).
Main features:
- dimensions: 7×6.5×2.4m
- bandwidth: 30 MHz - 18 GHz
- measuring distance: 3 m
