The IEMN's central laboratory is in Villeneuve d'Ascq, but its activities are also carried out in three branches (Lille University of Science and Technology, University of Valenciennes and Hainaut-Cambrésis and Institut Supérieur d'Electronique et du Numérique). How do I get to the IEMN central laboratory?

By train

From Lille Flandres SNCF station, take metro line 1 towards 4 Cantons and get off at 4 Cantons station.

From Lille Europe SNCF station, take metro line 2 towards St Philibert, change at Lille Flandres station, take line 1 towards 4 Cantons, get off at 4 Cantons station.

When you leave the metro station, turn left and walk up Avenue Poincaré for about 150m. You are now at the IEMN.

By plane

Lille-Lesquin airport is linked to the centre of Lille by shuttle bus (indicative journey time: 20 minutes). The airport shuttle bus stop is opposite the arrivals hall. In Lille, it is on rue Corbusier, Centre Eurallile.

By car

Coming from Lille, Paris, Valenciennes or Brussels, follow signs for Ghent and exit at Cité Scientifique. You are now on the Lille1 campus.

Coming from Ghent, head towards Paris and exit at Cité Scientifique. You are now on the Lille1 campus.
