Teacher-researcher profile drawn up as part of the 2022 assignment campaign For the synchronised session (national calendar) (Assignment on 01/09/2022)

Teaching

Section CNU : 63 (Electrical engineering, electronics, photonics and systems)

Short profile : Electronics, sensors and instrumentation, signal processing, physics

Detailed profile:

The lecturer recruited will teach (lectures, practical sessions, practical work) in electronics courses at L/1st cycle SHPI/M/engineering specialities level in the Electronics department of INSA Hauts-de-France. The disciplines concerned are essentially the following
- Electronics, physics, modelling of physical systems
- Sensors and instrumentation, signal processing,
Skills in digital electronics and programming will be a plus.
He/she will be involved in the organisation and running of the courses, possibly taking on teaching and administrative responsibilities and/or supervising work placements. He/she will play an active role in the implementation and monitoring of the department's new practical courses in physics, electronics and instrumentation.

Teaching department : Electronics Department INSA Haut-de-France
Place(s) of work : INSA Hauts-de-France, Mont Houy Campus, UPHF Teaching team: Electronics Department
Name of department director : François-Xavier Coudoux
Tel: 03 27 51 13 60
Email director dept. : Francois-Xavier.Coudoux@uphf.fr
Diplomas and courses concerned: Licences, 1st cycle SHPI, Masters and engineering specialities in the INSA Hauts-de-France Electronics Department

Search Short profile : Ultrasound, acoustic wave physics, guided waves and inverse problems

Detailed profile:

The candidate will join the TPIA (Transduction, Propagation and Acoustic Imaging) group of the DOAE component of the IEMN (Institut d'Electronique, de Microélectronique et de Nanotechnologie). He or she will develop research into the generation and propagation of ultrasonic waves (particularly guided waves) in different media, as well as the interaction of these waves with structures, with the aim of developing methods and systems for non-destructive testing and characterisation (inverse problem). In this context, the candidate must have solid theoretical skills in the physics of acoustic waves in solids, but skills in experimentation, signal and data processing and numerical simulation will also be required. A good knowledge of the various techniques for generating and detecting acoustic waves would be appreciated. In addition, knowledge of ultrasonic sensor technologies and laser ultrasonics would be a plus.
As far as possible, the candidate will be expected to develop applications for this research in industrial sectors, in particular in the transport sector, which is one of the IEMN's flagship themes and a strategic focus for UPHF. He/she will also need to have the writing skills to submit an ANR young researcher project in connection with the TPIA group's various themes and to contribute to the drafting and implementation of the group's new research projects and contracts (European, regional, ANR, FUI, etc.).
