Welcome to EuMW 2024
A leading event in microwave technology
The eagerly awaited European Microwave Week (EuMW) 2024 takes place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from September 22 to 27, 2024.
A major event for the microwave community, EuMW brings together three conferences under one roof: EuMC (European Microwave Conference), EuMIC (European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference), and EuRAD (European Radar Conference).
In addition, EuMW 2024 includes forums on defence, security, space, automotive, and 6G, as well as an extensive trade show. EuMW 2024 offers the opportunity to participate in conferences, workshops, short courses and special events such as "Women in Microwave Engineering".
With over 5,000 participants (conference and exhibition) and more than 300 exhibitors expected, EuMW is Europe's largest RF and microwave trade show.
The scientific programme, comprising over 100 sessions, covers a wide range of high-frequency topics, including materials, technologies, integrated circuits, systems and applications. It covers aspects such as theory, simulation, design and measurement. Key topics include 6G and THz connectivity, connected and eco-friendly vehicles, smart sensing, global satellite coverage and developments in smart cities and factories.
In addition, the programme explores new applications such as multistatic radar systems, short-range and near-field radar, biomedical imaging, millimeter-wave and THz technology, as well as electronic surveillance and countermeasures linked to the growth of the Internet of Things. Issues around sustainable development and environmental impact will also be considered across the board, with sessions on sustainability planned.
Several IEMN colleagues are heavily involved in the organisation of the conference, including Guillaume Ducournau (general chair of EuMW 2024), François Danneville (operational manager), Mohammed Zaknoune (treasurer), and Yannick Roelens (in charge of scholarships and visas).
