GROUPE DE RECHERCHE : MAMINA

A Distinguished Scholar Award was presented to our colleague Georges Nassar for his research on the Design of an Intelligent Ultrasound Bra for the Detection and Diagnosis of Breast Abnormalities: Application to Cancer.

Design and creation of an ultrasonic intelligent bra dedicate to a soft screening and diagnosis of breast abnormalities: Cancer Application

A smart bra has been developed using an integrated ultrasound concept dedicated to "Real Time" scanning for breast abnormalities. This individual breast imaging device uses ultrasound sensors whose morphological and electromechanical characteristics have been optimized to cover the entire breast. The detection and visualization of breast tissue anomalies are ensured by combining the principle of phantom detection with an Artificial Intelligence module using data from bio-compatible sensors and dedicated mathematical functions. The connected function of the device offers considerable potential for individual and personalized use. The expert system's decision informs the subject concerned about potentially suspicious areas of the breast in order to optimize an appropriate therapy.
