Summary:

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the development and characterization of vanadium nitride (VN) and molybdenum nitride (Mo2N) thin films for asymmetric micro-supercapacitors, aimed at meeting the growing need for miniaturization in modern technologies, particularly for the Internet of Things. It explores the thin-film synthesis, optimization and electrochemical evaluation of these materials, highlighting their potential as pseudocapacitive microelectrodes and their role in improving the performance of electrochemical microenergy storage systems.
