Congratulations to our colleagues on their Best Paper Award
Davy Gaillot, Laurent Clavier and their doctoral student Mohammed Mallik received the "Best (Student) Paper Award for their latest publication GLIP: Electromagnetic Field Exposure Map Completion by Deep Generative Networks".. This prize was awarded to them at the Annual IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio (IEEE PIMRC 2024) which took place in Valencia, Italy from 2 to 5 September 2024.
The symposium has become one of the two main conferences of theIEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) in the field of wireless communications and networks.
Mohammed's work focused on a new deep learning technique for reconstructing exposure to EM fields based on data from sensors scattered around the city of Lille. This project (thesis + sensors) was funded by the MEL. The title of the paper is "GLIP reconstruction: Electromagnetic Field Exposure Map Completion by Deep Generative Networks".
