Welcome to the EuMW 2024

A leading event in microwave technology

The eagerly awaited European Microwave Week (EuMW) 2024 takes place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 22 to 27 September 2024.

EuMW is a major event for the microwave community, bringing together three conferences under one roof: EuMC (European Microwave Conference), EuMIC (European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference) and EuRAD (European Radar Conference).

EuMW 2024 also includes forums on defence, security, space, automotive and 6G, as well as an extensive trade fair. EuMW 2024 offers the opportunity to take part in conferences, workshops, short courses and special events such as "Women in Microwave Engineering".
Over 5,000 participants (conference and exhibition) and more than 300 exhibitors are expected, EuMW is Europe's largest trade fair for RF and microwaves.
The scientific programme, comprising over 100 sessions, covers a wide range of subjects related to high frequencies, including materials, technologies, integrated circuits, systems and applications. It covers aspects such as theory, simulation, design and measurement. Key topics include 6G and THz connectivity, connected and environmentally friendly vehicles, intelligent sensing, global satellite coverage and developments in smart cities and factories. In addition, the programme explores new applications such as multistatic radar systems, short-range and near-field radar, biomedical imaging, millimetre wave and THz technology, as well as electronic surveillance and countermeasures related to the growth of the Internet of Things. Issues around sustainable development and environmental impact will also be considered across the board, with sessions on sustainability planned.
A number of IEMN colleagues are heavily involved in organising the conference, including Guillaume Ducournau (general chair of EuMW 2024), François Danneville (operational manager), Mohammed Zaknoune (treasurer) and Yannick Roelens (in charge of scholarships and visas).
