Teaching | Training courses concerned: Bachelor's and Master's degrees in mechanics (Department of Mechanics, Faculty of Science and Technology): https://sciences- technologies.univ-lille.fr/mecanique Learning objectives : The restructuring of the range of courses on offer and the establishment of partnerships with companies have greatly enhanced the attractiveness of mechanical engineering courses, resulting in a significant increase in enrolments in recent years. This situation should continue to grow with the introduction of apprenticeships. In order to maintain this momentum, the person recruited will be required to teach solid mechanics and/or fluid mechanics and/or energetics at bachelor's and master's level. He or she will be able to use his or her research activities to propose relevant Masters courses. The person recruited is expected to do most of his/her teaching in French. Need for support : |
Search | Research theme : Depending on assignment to one of the two research units: IEMN or LMFL. IEMN research unit : The IEMN brings together skills in a wide range of fields, from materials to micro-, nano- and opto-electronics, as well as acoustics and microfluidics, with a view to designing innovative micro- and nanosystems to meet major societal challenges, particularly in the ICST, health and transport sectors. The presence of a team with strong expertise in the field of microfluidics and acoustofluidics in a laboratory with exceptional experimental resources (particularly the technology and characterisation centres) has enabled the development of innovative research into selective acoustic microchips, interface instabilities, particularly in the presence of microparticles, and the development of a surface acoustic wave droplet displacement technology and micropumps. These projects have led to significant advances in both science and applications, notably through the filing of numerous patents and the creation of a start-up company. LMFL research unit : Expected responsibilities: |
Educational innovation | The person recruited will use his or her research skills in the fields of mechanics to offer original teaching that provides added value for students, through the acquisition of skills useful for integration into the professional world. The person recruited will also be expected to be involved in leading the teaching teams and to invest in developing new courses, particularly with regard to hands-on activities (projects, work placements, etc.). Sensitivity to new teaching practices will be appreciated. |
