But at the IEMN, researcher <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Xin Zhou<\/strong><\/span> has decided to change the game by taking inspiration from the world\u2019s most efficient machine: the human brain.<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with <strong>LOMA<\/strong> (Condensed Matter Theory Team), the <strong>NEEL<\/strong> Institute (UBT Team), the <strong>University of Southampton<\/strong> and <strong>IEMN-PCMP\u00a0<\/strong> the MORETOME project is being launched.<\/p>\n<p>The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>MORETOME<\/strong><\/span> project is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A technology that mimics the brain\u2019s simultaneous detection and processing<\/li>\n<li>Nanomechanical devices capable of collective learning<\/li>\n<li>Drastically reduced energy consumption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From ultra-early medical diagnostics to predictive maintenance in aeronautics, they are many applications.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>To explore this topic
