Initially a doctoral student in electrical engineering, he became a university professor in 2002.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #025178;\">\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-mqde7m-1-11-2-d69003dc81bd7530f505f5935445dc5c\">\n.av_font_icon.av-mqde7m-1-11-2-d69003dc81bd7530f505f5935445dc5c{\ncolor:#025178;\nborder-color:#025178;\n}\n.av_font_icon.av-mqde7m-1-11-2-d69003dc81bd7530f505f5935445dc5c .av-icon-char{\nfont-size:20px;\nline-height:20px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<span  class='av_font_icon av-mqde7m-1-11-2-d69003dc81bd7530f505f5935445dc5c avia_animate_when_visible av-icon-style- avia-icon-pos-left avia-icon-animate'><span class='av-icon-char' aria-hidden='true' data-av_icon='\ue810' data-av_iconfont='entypo-fontello' ><\/span><\/span>Henri was a leading figure in nanoelectronics at the international level and played a key role in the European Graphene Flagship program. His scientific work on high-frequency and flexible electronic devices based on graphene or two-dimensional materials was particularly recognized by the scientific community. As director of the ENGSYS Graduate School since its creation, he worked to strengthen the links between education and research, and between master&rsquo;s and doctoral programs. He also served as vice-chair of the ANR&rsquo;s scientific evaluation committee for micro and nanotechnologies.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #00699e; font-size: 12pt;\">Henri Happy leaves behind a legacy as a rigorous researcher who was always available and deeply committed to doctoral students.
