{"id":7442,"date":"2015-03-24T12:30:17","date_gmt":"2015-03-24T10:30:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/?p=7442"},"modified":"2015-04-03T12:28:29","modified_gmt":"2015-04-03T10:28:29","slug":"prix-renatech-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/en\/actualites\/prix-renatech-2015.html","title":{"rendered":"Renatech Prize 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The price <a title=\"Network of major CNRS technology centres\" href=\"https:\/\/www.renatech.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">RENATECH network. <\/a>will be awarded for outstanding work in the field of micro-nanotechnologies carried out as part of a doctoral thesis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Lg_Renatech_str.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7491\" title=\"Renatech\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Lg_Renatech_str.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"70\" \/><\/a>Candidates must have defended their thesis in the two years preceding the JNTE conference (i.e. thesis defended in 2013 or 2014 for the JNTE 2015). The thesis work must have been carried out in a French academic or industrial laboratory, with possible collaboration with foreign partners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>The application must follow a specific model<\/strong> (<a title=\"Application form - RENATECH Thesis Prize 2015\" href=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/AAP-Prix-these-RENATECH2015.doc\" target=\"_blank\">download here<\/a>) :<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333300;\"><strong>- A maximum 3-page summary including<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">a brief presentation of the thesis,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">a detailed description of the development of the micro-nanofabrication methods used,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\"> highlighting their originality and added value,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">a list of publications.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #333300;\"><strong>- A letter from the thesis supervisor or a close colleague<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">to support its application for the RENATECH prize.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/img_these_renatech1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-7475\" title=\"img_these_renatech\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/img_these_renatech1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a>This complete application must be sent to<br \/>\nby e-mail to caroline.boisard@cnrs-dir.fr<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong><em>before midnight on 5 May 2015.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Applications will be examined by a panel of experts, who will be primarily interested in the importance and originality of the technological developments made and their impact on micro-nanofabrication. The evaluation will not focus on the scientific results obtained from the device manufactured, but on the technological advances and\/or their impact(s) on the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The winner will be announced at the end of June 2015.
