Par exemple, un puits quantique de HgTe contraint entre deux barri\u00e8res de Cd(Zn)Te est un isolant topologique bidimensionnel, un mat\u00e9riau pr\u00e9sentant des canaux de conduction prot\u00e9g\u00e9s contre le d\u00e9sordre et les impuret\u00e9s sur les bords alors qu\u2019il est isolant ailleurs. La fabrication de nano-dispositifs bas\u00e9s sur ce mat\u00e9riau est donc particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ressante pour les applications d&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique quantique et de spintronique. Cependant, en raison de sa forte sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;exposition au faisceau d&rsquo;\u00e9lectrons, la r\u00e9alisation de nanostructures de HgTe par lithographie est particuli\u00e8rement difficile. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une collaboration dans le cadre du projet ANR Inspiring, le LETI, l&rsquo;IEMN et NEEL ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019utiliser l\u2019\u00e9pitaxie par jets mol\u00e9culaires s\u00e9lective \u00e0 travers un masque d&rsquo;oxyde de silicium pour faire cro\u00eetre des nanofils d&rsquo;HgTe planaires sur un substrat de CdTe.
