At an event in Bercy on May 23, 2023, attended by V. Hoel (IEMN) and S. The fact is that women account for less than 30% of employees in industry, and this figure has stagnated over the last ten years. Beyond this percentage, women in industry are often employed in support functions, and only 10 to 15% in design and production. Last but not least, women are still under-represented in management positions (around 15% of executive committees).<strong><br \/>\nThe approach adopted by the French Ministry of Industry therefore responds to the need to offer women attractive professional careers enabling them to develop their potential, while meeting the challenge of industry\u2019s enormous skills needs.
