style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>son prix de th\u00e8se 2023<\/strong><\/span> \u00e0 : <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Kathia Harrouche<\/strong>,<\/span> pour sa th\u00e8se <strong>\u00ab Design and fabrication of GaN-based millimeter-wave field effect transistors \u00bb<\/strong>, sous la direction de <strong>Farid Medjdoub<\/strong> de l\u2019IEMN.<\/p>\n<p>La remise du prix s&rsquo;est faite lors du congr\u00e8s du Club EEA les 22 et 23 juin 2023. Ce prix de th\u00e8se, obtenu parmi des candidatures d\u2019excellente qualit\u00e9, r\u00e9compense un travail de recherches appliqu\u00e9es qui r\u00e9pond \u00e0 des enjeux actuels importants. Ces travaux proposent, en effet, des solutions innovantes qui peuvent \u00eatre mises en \u0153uvre pour r\u00e9soudre des limitations critiques des transistors \u00e0 base de GaN fonctionnant \u00e0 tr\u00e8s haute fr\u00e9quence (&gt; 40 GHz), ouvrant ainsi la voie \u00e0 des performances sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent sur la gamme d\u2019ondes millim\u00e9triques.<\/p>\n<p>Il est int\u00e9ressant de noter que la technologie d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e est en cours de transfert industriel au travers d\u2019un projet Europ\u00e9en. Un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de fabrication partag\u00e9 avec la fonderie Franco-Allemande UMS a notamment \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 au sein des plateformes avanc\u00e9es de l\u2019IEMN permettant de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des circuits int\u00e9gr\u00e9s repr\u00e9sentatifs des applications vis\u00e9es \u00e0 base de cette nouvelle technologie.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper.
