The paper proposes a scalable model describing the relationship between skate, overtravel, and contact force of MEMS (MicroElectroMechanical Systems) probes based on tilted triangular cantilevers in large bending<\/strong> <em>(see figure).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/steve.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-56740 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/steve-300x233.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/steve-300x233.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/steve-768x597.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/steve-15x12.jpg 15w, https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/steve-705x548.jpg 705w, https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/steve.jpg 809w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a>The results should be useful to test engineers and MEMS probe designers involved in on-chip electrical testing. The work was carried out in anticipation of the ANR PRECISE project, which is conducted in collaboration with the University of Bordeaux, the University of Grenoble-Alpes and the MC2 company.
