The engineer will be assigned to the Optical and Photonic Microwave Characterisation (CHOP) of the labelled Multi-Physics Characterisation Platform (PCMP). The CHOP is a joint laboratory department whose mission is to meet the needs of the various research groups and to train PhD students in microwave, optical and photonic measurement techniques. CHOP consists of 4 engineers and a pool of instruments worth \u20ac7 million. The department has 5 areas of expertise: Millimetre-TeraHertz, DC-Low Frequency, Microwave, Nanocaracterisation and Power.<br \/>\nThe design engineer will be responsible for the technical implementation of microwave\/radio frequency measurements from DC to 110 GHz for the laboratory. He\/she will carry out measurements of electronic components (transistors, diodes) with micrometric dimensions and of microelectronic systems. These measurements will mainly be carried out on a peak station for the characterisation of electronic components on wafer.
