Thus, the Networks and Telecommunications (RT) Master's degree and the Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies (NN) Master's degree represent training courses for engineers and researchers in the fields of electronics, communicating electronic systems, nanotechnologies and telecommunications.

The RT Master offers two possible specialisations in Master 2. The first is to become an expert engineer in the design and characterization of high-frequency electronics (radio frequencies and microwaves) and the second is to become an expert in fixed (fibre optics, FTTH for example) and mobile (from 2G to 5G) telecommunications systems. As for the Master NNits objective is to train engineers-researchers through research, with technological innovation as the main focus. This will enable them to join the R&D laboratories of major microelectronics groups, SMEs or microelectronics SMEs, as well as academic research laboratories. After barely a year of existence, these new programs have a record number of 22 students in the Master 2 program (including 100% of the TELECOM program).

This link with the economic world has been made possible by adapting the content of the courses, the teaching methods and the timetable of these masters.

Thus, students can divide their time between academic training and work in companies. The apprenticeship contracts currently underway involve well-known economic players in the microelectronics sector (STMicroelectronics, Infineon, CEA, Thales), telephone operators and developers (Orange, SFR, Bouygues, Free Mobile, CIRCET, Axione), local SMEs and start-ups that have emerged from IEMN's research work (Vmicro, MC2-Technologies). These training courses will also benefit from the support of the CNRS, which will pay the apprentice's entire salary for the projects selected and taking place in a laboratory.

The EEEA department's master's forum, which will take place on February 8, 2022 at LILLIAD (Cité Scientifique campus), will be an opportunity for students, teachers, researchers and companies to meet and exchange.

Masters' website : https://master-electronique.univ-lille.fr/

Presentation of the Masters Forum : https://sciences-technologies.univ-lille.fr/eea/entreprises/forum-des-masters-eea

Contact:

davy.gaillot@univ-lille.fr

[297

post-48390","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-newsletter
["GET
