The lack of solid electrolytes, which allow 'fast' conduction of ions, is at the root of many practical problems. <strong>A team from IEMN, UCCS and UCLA has developed the first photostructured solid-state micro-supercapacitor. Each step of the technological manufacturing process was carried out using standard equipment from the microelectronics industry.
