The prize awarded experienced researchers showing how their participation in MSCA has a positive effect on their careers, including gained new knowledge and skills, boosting international networks, employment prospects and professional opportunities in academic and \/ or non-academic sectors.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The objective of MSCA is to strengthen the creative and innovative potential of researchers wishing to diversify their individual skills through training, advanced international and intersectoral mobility.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/marco1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-43248 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/marco1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"197\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/marco1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/marco1-300x118.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/marco1-16x6.jpg 16w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/marco3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-43247 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/marco3-233x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"233\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/marco3-233x300.jpg 233w, https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/marco3-9x12.jpg 9w, https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/marco3.jpg 341w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 233px) 100vw, 233px\" \/><\/a>Dr. Marco Miniaci received the prize presenting his project \" <em>HARPOCRATES - Smart phononic crystals for aircraft noise reduction<\/em> \", carried out at the UMR 6294 du CNRS and supervised by Professor Bruno Morvan at the Laboratory of Waves and Complex Media of Le Havre, and funded within the framework of an \" <em>Individual European Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie fellowship<\/em> \u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>HARPOCRATES designs \" <em>smart phononic crystals for aircraft noise reduction<\/em> \". The project promoted the development of new-generation sound insulation approaches based on the phononic crystal paradigm, i.e. architected composites exhibiting unconventional dynamic properties ideally suited for controlling elastic wave propagation via the so called pass bands and band gaps, which permit and inhibit, respectively, waves to propagate within precise frequency ranges.
