cours des dix derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, les nanostructures photoniques ont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un paradigme pour le contr\u00f4le des radiations thermiques, offrant un panel de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s passionnantes pour les applications \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques. En raison de leurs capacit\u00e9s \u00e0 contr\u00f4ler et \u00e0 g\u00e9rer les ondes \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle de la longueur d\u2019onde dans l\u2019infrarouge moyen (Mid-IR), les nanostructures photoniques ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 g\u00e9rer les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s des radiations thermiques d\u2019une mani\u00e8re radicalement diff\u00e9rente des \u00e9metteurs thermiques conventionnels. Les progr\u00e8s fondamentaux du contr\u00f4le du rayonnement thermique ont conduit \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes applications dans le domaine de l\u2019\u00e9nergie, comme les dispositifs thermo-photovolta\u00efques ou \u00e0 travers le concept de refroidissement radiatif diurne pour diminuer passivement la temp\u00e9rature des installations terrestres. R\u00e9cemment, un autre domaine d\u2019application est apparu dans le contr\u00f4le du rayonnement thermique, avec l\u2019introduction de nanostructures photoniques dans les textiles.<br \/>\nLe but de la th\u00e8se est d\u2019\u00e9tudier diff\u00e9rentes membranes photoniques passives qui modulent le rayonnement optique du corps humain dans l\u2019IR moyen pour assurer la thermor\u00e9gulation individuelle. Pour cela, nous avons \u00e9tudi\u00e9 les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s optiques de membranes polym\u00e8res, en fonction de leur structuration. Nous avons montr\u00e9 que la membrane photonique est capable de moduler l\u2019amplitude de transmission de 28% au profit ou au d\u00e9pend de l\u2019absorption et de la r\u00e9flexion. Nous avons d\u00e9termin\u00e9 le bilan thermique entre le corps humain et le milieu environnant \u00e0 travers la membrane photonique, en tenant compte des m\u00e9canismes de rayonnement, de convection et de conduction. Nous avons trouv\u00e9 que la temp\u00e9rature de la peau est sup\u00e9rieure de presque 2 \u00b0C lorsque le corps humain est rev\u00eatu d\u2019une membrane photonique structur\u00e9e. Cette \u00e9tude a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de calculs analytiques et de codes de simulation num\u00e9rique par la m\u00e9thode des \u00e9l\u00e9ments finis (FEM). L\u2019\u00e9tude num\u00e9rique a \u00e9t\u00e9 accompagn\u00e9e par des exp\u00e9riences de fabrication en salle blanche \u00e0 l\u2019IEMN et de caract\u00e9risation par spectroscopie infra rouge (FTIR) \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole d\u2019ing\u00e9nieur HEI.<\/p>\n<h5>Abstract:<\/h5>\n<p>For the past ten years, photonic nanostructures have represented a paradigm for the control of thermal radiations, offering a panel of exciting properties for energy applications. Because of their abilities to control and manage electromagnetic waves at the Mid-Infrared (Mid-IR) wavelength scale, photonic nanostructures demonstrate their ability to manage thermal radiations properties in a way drastically different from conventional thermal emitters. The fundamental advances in controlling thermal radiation led to different applications in the energy domain, as thermo photovoltaic devices or through the concept of daytime radiative cooling to passively decrease the temperature of terrestrial structures. Recently, another field of application has appeared in the thermal radiation control, with the introduction of photonic nanostructures in textiles for personal thermoregulation.<br \/>\nThe goal of the thesis is to study different passive photonic membranes that modulate the human body optical radiations in the Mid-IR for personal thermoregulation. We have investigated the optical properties of different polymer membranes, considering the effect of their structuration. We showed that a photonic crystal membrane is able to modulate the transmission coefficient by 28% in benefit or deficit of both the absorption and reflection. We analyzed the thermal balance between the human body and the indoor environment through the photonic membrane, considering the radiation, convection and conduction mechanisms. We found that the temperature of the skin is almost 2\u00b0C higher when the human body is clothed with a structured membrane. The study was carried out on analytical calculations and numerical simulation with the help of the finite element method (FEM).
