Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, un int\u00e9r\u00eat croissant s&rsquo;est concentr\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;\u00e9tude d&rsquo;une nouvelle classe de structures p\u00e9riodiques, appel\u00e9e les cristaux phoXoniques qui visent \u00e0 localiser simultan\u00e9ment les photons et les phonons dans les m\u00eames structures p\u00e9riodiques submicroniques. Un tel confinement peut alors \u00eatre \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine d&rsquo;une forte exaltation de l&rsquo;interaction phonon-photon, permettant par exemple de moduler la lumi\u00e8re se propageant dans des guides ou cavit\u00e9s par les vibrations acoustiques.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/logo_h2020.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-39826\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/logo_h2020.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"218\" height=\"123\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/logo_h2020.png 960w, https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/logo_h2020-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/logo_h2020-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/www.iemn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/logo_h2020-705x397.png 705w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 218px) 100vw, 218px\" \/><\/a><strong><span class='av_dropcap1 av-av_dropcap1-3cd9da5fea0ef5fb27aee617571c39a3'>T<\/span>e projet <a href=\"http:\/\/phenomen-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PHENOMEN<\/a> a pour objectif g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de jeter les bases d&rsquo;une nouvelle technologie de l&rsquo;information bas\u00e9e sur la manipulation des phonons et de leur couplage aux photons et \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique RF.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;objectif est de r\u00e9aliser les premi\u00e8res sources et d\u00e9tecteurs de phonons \u00e0 commande optique \u00e0 base de cavit\u00e9s opto-m\u00e9caniques et de les int\u00e9grer dans des circuits phononiques aux fr\u00e9quences hypersoniques (GHz).
