Ce projet, en lien avec le th\u00e8me H.12, vise \u00e0 \u00e9tablir un intranet humain s\u00e9curis\u00e9 et tr\u00e8s \u00e9conome en \u00e9nergie en utilisant des dispositifs int\u00e9gr\u00e9s. L&rsquo;intranet humain cr\u00e9e une infrastructure d\u00e9di\u00e9e aux noeuds IoT et aux v\u00eatements, en utilisant la communication capacitive coupl\u00e9e au corps pour des r\u00e9seaux \u00e0 tr\u00e8s faible consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie. En abordant les d\u00e9fis d\u2019int\u00e9gration, de consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie et de synchronisation, le projet d\u00e9veloppe un noeud de communication complet pour les r\u00e9seaux corporels en technologie 28nm FDSOI CMOS.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;aspect innovant r\u00e9side dans la synchronisation opportuniste du r\u00e9seau bas\u00e9e sur la d\u00e9tection des battements de coeur, qui garantit une faible consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part. Le projet s\u2019attaque \u00e0 quatre grands d\u00e9fis : consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie, d\u00e9bit de donn\u00e9es, latence et int\u00e9gration, en se comparant aux normes existantes telles que BLE. L&rsquo;\u00e9valuation des couches physique et MAC, en utilisant C-BCC dans des environnements denses, d\u00e9montrera l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;approche.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>S&rsquo;appuyant sur la technologie 28nm FDSOI CMOS pour son faible courant de fuite et ses performances \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques, le projet int\u00e8gre des techniques telles que N-Path et conception en faible inversion, la synchronisation sur battement cardiaque et l&rsquo;UWB puls\u00e9e au niveau du syst\u00e8me, ainsi qu&rsquo;une couche MAC optimis\u00e9e pour l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. Chaque partenaire du consortium, qui a une longue tradition de collaboration, apporte son expertise : TIMA Grenoble sur la conception du chemin de r\u00e9ception ULP, Junia-IEMN Lille sur les d\u00e9tecteurs analogiques ULP, IMS Bordeaux sur les solutions de synth\u00e8se de fr\u00e9quence ULP, et ST qui assurera la mise en oeuvre du syst\u00e8me ULP, l&rsquo;alignement sur le march\u00e9 et les efforts de normalisation.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Wearable devices are rapidly advancing, offering diverse interactions and monitoring capabilities. This project, aligned with the H.12 theme, aims to establish a secure and highly energy-efficient human intranet using micro and nanotechnologies. The Human Intranet creates a dedicated infrastructure for IoT nodes and wearables, utilizing capacitive body-coupled communication for ultra-low-power networks. By addressing integration, power consumption, and synchronization challenges, the project develops a complete communicating node for Body Area Networks, utilizing 28nm FD-SOI CMOS technology.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The innovative aspect lies in the opportunistic synchronization of the network based on heartbeat detection, which guarantees very low energy consumption right from the start. The project targets four main challenges: power consumption, bit rate, latency, and integration, benchmarking against existing standards like BLE. Evaluation at physical and MAC layers, using C-BCC in dense environments, will demonstrate the efficiency of the approach. Four key layers are identified to address power consumption: integration technology, building block design, system level, and protocol, emphasizing the importance of energy efficiency at each level.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Leveraging 28nm FD-SOI CMOS technology for its low leakage current and power capabilities, the project incorporates passive circuits like N-Path and weak inversion techniques, heartbeat synchronization, and pulsed UWB at the system level, and a dedicated MAC layer optimized for power efficiency. The consortium, with a history of collaboration, involves all partners in system definition.
