nanotechnologies, Wijden, has carried out her engineering studies in the advanced electronics and nanotechnologies field, where she attended different courses about quantum physics, microelectronics, MEMS etc.<\/p>\n<p>Then, she persued her studies at the Rennes 1 University. Thanks to the Master 2 programme about \"Nanosciences, Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies\" she was introduced and trained on various subjects including Non-linear photonics, Semiconductors, Nanoelectronics (including quantum transport and nanowires), Characterization techniques (SEM, TEM, STM, Raman spectroscopy etc.), Technology of thin films, Modeling and simulation (finite elements analysis). These studies where persued with a thesis project intitled \"p-n junction Nanowires for solar cells\" at the N\u00e9el Institute and the CEA of Grenoble. Within this internship, clean-room experimental work has been arried out using different lithography, deposition techniques as well as different characterization techniques (SEM, electrical measurements using Keithley etc).<br \/>\nActually, during the PhD thesis at the IEMN, Wijden is interested in the MBE growth of quantum-well (1D or 2D) structures with (InAs or InSb) channels.
