I currently work on photoconductors for the under-sampling of high frequency signals. A novel resonant cavity photoconductor that optimises the optical absorption inside a low temperature grown-GaAs layer has been developed at IEMN. Controlled by a mode-locked femtosecond laser these photoconductors allow overcoming the time-jitter limitation of electronic clocks. At such low levels of jitter the main limitation becomes the dynamic reduction due to the harmonic generation induced by the photoconductor non-linearity. My work is focused on the non-linear modelisation of the photoconductor in order to propose a new topology to reduce harmonic generation.

- Publications

[1] E.
