The development of terahertz wide-band and powerful sources is the keystone for terahertz spectroscopy and wide band free-space communications. Photo-mixing is one of the solutions. In my PhD, I investigate the association between a Uni-Traveling Carrier Photo-Diode (UTC-PD) and a wide band antenna through simulations and characterizations.
