Ses recherches portent sur le d\u00e9veloppement de nouveaux outils et techniques de la gamme THz pour des applications en biologie et en m\u00e9decine. Il s\u2019int\u00e9resse particuli\u00e8rement \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation de la spectroscopie THz pour \u00e9tudier la structure et la dynamique des prot\u00e9ines, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019exploration du potentiel de la technologie THz pour des fins diagnostiques. Il a men\u00e9 ses activit\u00e9s de recherche doctorales en spectroscopie par fibre optique de l\u2019Institut Lumi\u00e8re Mati\u00e8re (ILM) de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Lyon 1 \u00e0 Lyon, en France. Par la suite, il a poursuivi des recherches sur les cristaux photoniques \u00e0 l\u2019Institut des Nanotechnologies de Lyon (INL) et sur les lasers \u00e0 cascade quantique \u00e0 l\u2019ETH Zurich en Suisse. Ces exp\u00e9riences l\u2019ont conduit \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper un vif int\u00e9r\u00eat pour la biophotonique T\u00e9raHertz, qui est devenue son principal domaine de recherche. En 2016, il a rejoint l\u2019IEMN avec le soutien de la r\u00e9gion Hauts-de-France et de la M\u00e9tropole Europ\u00e9enne de Lille Ses contributions dans le domaine ont \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnues par son recrutement au CNRS en 2018 et par l\u2019obtention de son \u00ab\u00a0Habilitation \u00e0 diriger des recherches\u00a0\u00bb en 2023.
